Services
Managing permitting with agencies and authorities, from application to permit.
Overview
The Renewables Consolidated Act (Legislative Decree 190/2024) reorganised permits into three regimes. Timing, documents and counterparts depend on which one applies to the individual project.
An application that is consistent from filing reduces requests for additional information, which often weigh on timing more than the formal length of the procedure.

The regimes
The regime depends on technology, capacity, area and constraints. The text has already been amended: it must be read in its current version.
| Regime | How it works |
|---|---|
| Free activity | Works in Annex A, with notification where required. Constraints and consents may still be required. |
| PAS | Simplified authorisation procedure at the Municipality, for the works in Annex B. |
| Single authorisation | Single procedure with a services conference, for the works in Annex C. |
What we follow
Area suitability under national and regional rules, and zoning.
Landscape, cultural, natural and hydrogeological, with the authorities that will need to give an opinion.
It follows its own rules (Legislative Decree 152/2006): it must be read together with the permitting regime.
Starting with the connection, which may fall under the same permit as the plant.
Dealings with the administrations and responses to requests for additional information.
Assessment of the transitional rules for applications already under way.
How we work
01
We place the works within the annexes, in the current version of the text.
02
We identify who will need to give an opinion and any environmental procedure.
03
We align layout, capacity and connection point across the design, the connection quote and the application.
04
We follow the procedure and handle additional requests with the authorities.
