About us
From Sicily, for renewables across Italy
We are an engineering and consulting company based in Catania. We support funds and companies, including foreign ones, at every phase of solar, agrivoltaic, wind, storage and datacenter projects.
Our story
We started small, in Catania, and this is where we chose to grow
Amato Consulting was founded in Catania less than five years ago by the two people who still lead it today. We are now a team of 13, working on plants across Italy, many of them here in Sicily.
The projects we handle are large and take time: two to five years can pass before a plant goes into operation, and monitoring can continue for thirty years. That is why we step in at every phase, or only where we're needed, and stay for as long as the project needs us.
Our values
What we hold firm on every project
Roots
We know the territory we work in, and many of our plants are here. That bond weighs on every choice we make.
People
We invest in Sicilian skills: a team that grows here, without having to go elsewhere to do so.
Responsibility
On projects of this scale, a decision carries weight for decades. We check and document every step.
Continuity
A plant doesn't end with commissioning tests. We stay beside investors once it is in operation too.
